Cage of Deceit: Reign of Secrets, Book 1

Cage of Deceit (Reign of Secrets #1) - Jennifer Anne Davis This book was so good! This book took me by surprise and it was way better than I expected. I was up until almost 2 AM finishing it. On to the next one.

Fire Falling (Air Awakens Series Book 2)

Fire Falling (Air Awakens Series Book 2) - Elise Kova DNF, will pick back up later

The Dark of the Moon (Chronicles of Lunos #1)

The Dark of the Moon (Chronicles of Lunos #1) - E.S. Bell I love all the books by this author under her other name, and when I saw her post that she was coming out with a fantasy book, which happens to be my favorite genre, I was thrilled. So I stopped in the middle of everything else that I was reading and picked this one up.

This book did not disappoint and was as great as I thought it would be. I loved the world, the magic, and the characters were fantastic. It took me about 10% in to get into it (which happens with a lot of fantasy for me, especially the first novel in a series), but after that I was fully invested in everything that happened to these characters. I loved the crew that came together and all of the characters they met along the way. There was tons of action, and I love the potential relationship. I can't wait for book 2!

Shadow and Bone

Shadow and Bone - Leigh Bardugo DNF 30%

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1)

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) - Marissa Meyer DNF 49%

Torn from You

Torn from You - Nashoda Rose DNF 45%. Emily is the worst.

53 Letters For My Lover

53 Letters For My Lover - Leylah Attar DNF at 65%. I love Leylah Attar but I can not get through this book for some reason. I'm obviously in the minority here as most people loved it, but I just can't seem to connect with them and it's not holding my interest.

Wallbanger

Wallbanger - Alice Clayton DNF

The Risk (Mindf*ck Series #1)

The Risk (Mindf*ck Series #1) - S.T. Abby I really liked this book and can't wait to read the next one. This was so easy to read and had a really good plot, I'm surprised I don't see this series talked about more. I loved the characters and the writing was great.

Full Tilt

Full Tilt - Emma Scott I've spent the last two days reading this book, and the second book. I haven't been able to think about anything else, and I don't know if I'll be able to think about anything else for a long time.

I loved these characters, and I loved this story. Hands down, my all time favorite.

Broken English

Broken English - Marita A. Hansen I loved this book!

I will write a longer review later, but have to go read the second book now.

Seizing Control

Seizing Control - Kylie Hillman I really liked this book. It starts off a little slow, so you have to stick with it for the first 20% or so, then it really picks up from there and starts to get exciting.

Six of Hearts

Six of Hearts - L.H. Cosway This was such a sweet and heartwarming story. I connected with these characters right from the start and didn't want to put this one down. The writing was great, with very good, often funny, dialogue and a different and interesting plot.

The Goodbye Man (Red Market, #1)

The Goodbye Man (Red Market, #1) - Mary E. Palmerin, Ashleigh Giannoccaro I went back and forth on how to rate this book. I love dark books, and this book gets 5 stars for darkness. It is great at that.

But, I felt like I never really connected with most of the characters. Maybe Lettie to some extent, but not the others. Also, I like multiple POVs, but the way this one would go back over the same exact part of the story was confusing at first, and then kind of boring after. I don't really like reading the same thing twice, but a few extra things were usually added in to each one but I feel like that could have been done without rehashing the entire scene.

That being said, I do want to know what happens and will still read the next book eventually. This is a different story than any that I have read before and is worth reading, it just didn't work for me.

Nine Minutes

Nine Minutes - Beth Flynn WOW.

I don't even know what else to say. This book was amazing and probably one of the best that I have ever read. I don't even know how to feel right now. Sad? Mad? Confused? Maybe happy?

I can't wait to read the next one.

Grizz, I love you.

Becoming Noah Baxter

Becoming Noah Baxter - J.M. Sevilla This book, and this series, were great. It has a little bit of everything- romance, humor, action - and I couldn't put it down. I loved the characters and I'm going to miss them now that I'm done.
